Photograms
Photograms bring a quality to the material captured that is unparalleled in any other art form. Artists such as Adam Fuss have used this technique extensively within their practice. This is a procedure that recalls the earliest and simplest photographic techniques - the photographs of the 1830's and 1840's - which I find most appealing as my subject matter relates to the colonial period.
